The Hebrew University was honored to welcome H.E. Ms. Alexandra Rydmark, Ambassador of Sweden to Israel, for her first visit to our institution. She was received by Ambassador Yossi Gal, Vice President of the Hebrew University Advancement and External Relations, and Professor Asher Cohen, President of the University.

This visit highlighted the strong academic ties between the Hebrew University and leading Swedish universities, as well as a shared interest in deepening collaborations in research and innovation. Ambassador Rydmark was joined by Frida Rybo, head of Vinnova in Israel. Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency, fosters cooperation between Swedish and Israeli research ecosystems to drive technological advancement.

With its excellence in research and entrepreneurship, the Hebrew University continues to be a hub for international collaboration. Strengthening partnerships with Sweden offers new opportunities for academic exchange, innovation and cutting-edge research.
