Hebrew University researchers awarded for Excellence in Scientific Research

The Krill Prize is an annual award granted to outstanding academic faculty members and promising Israeli researchers who have made significant breakthroughs in various fields.

This year, three Hebrew University researchers were among the laureates:
Dr. Yuval Hart, Department of Psychology, for his unique contributions to understanding the computational principles of cognitive processes that underlie the human mind and brain, creativity, and autism.

Dr. Yotam Drier, Department of Immunology & Cancer Research. His research contributed to deciphering gene expression mechanisms leading to discoveries that help in the treatment and development of new drugs for cancer and genetic diseases.

Dr. Ido Goldstein, Institute of Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition for his contributions to the study of the genetics of hunger and to understanding the dynamics of fasting and breaking it and its consequences in metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
