Computational Medicine

Computational medicine is a radical new approach to diagnosing and treating diseases through the assimilation of data analysis into medical research and practice. Treating disease effectively in the modern era requires the integration of patients’ own detailed genetic and molecular profiles, together with large databases of thousands of other patients, and the application of algorithms to assist doctors in tailoring effective personalized treatments. The Center for Computational Medicine will leverage Hebrew University excellence in medicine and computer science to transform medical research and practice.
